A Site Visit to Nattergal’s High Fen Wildland

EFG N. Lincolnshire - Allerton Project

Our CEO, Luke Baldwin, will be speaking at the Environmental Farmers Group trip to the Allerton Project as a part of their North Lincolnshire Carbon Baselining Project.

The event will provide an opportunity to discuss what the results of farm carbon audits mean in practice, whilst focusing on how EFG will use feedback from the N Lincs Conservation Plans to inform its wider Environmental Delivery Programme. It will also be a chance to explore what businesses are seeking in future carbon trading opportunities, identifying ways to overcome barriers which will enable better access to these markets. The event will include a farm walk at the Allerton Project followed by lunch from Launde Farm Foods.

Building Institutional Confidence in Carbon Markets - A London Climate Action Week Event

About This Event

Bringing together leaders in finance, climate tech, research and sustainability, this event will explore corporate sentiment and building confidence in Carbon Markets.

The event will open with an informative keynote presentation from Oxford Net Zero, followed by a panel of experts from different perspectives as they explore key trends (e.g. removals vs avoidance, contribution vs compensation), opportunities and what is needed to drive institutional confidence and impact.

The programme will be followed by networking drinks, and an opportunity for guests to continue to explore these themes with other participants.

Oxford Net Zero will be gathering insights from event participants through questionnaire surveys for research impact. The research will examine whether and how businesses are investing into carbon credits, and how they are framing their investments with respect to their mitigation targets. Insights from participants will inform the design of policies and corporate standards.
